Table rules & how the coach works
Six decks, shuffled before every full round. US hole card: dealer checks for blackjack before player decisions. Double on any first two cards, including after splitting. Split equal-value cards up to four hands. Split aces receive one card each; no resplitting aces. A split-hand 21 pays 1:1. No surrender or insurance. Choose your starting stake with the chip rack; splits and doubles add a matching stake. There is no cash balance, purchase or withdrawal.
The coach uses standard total-dependent basic strategy for this rule set, not card counting or composition-dependent exceptions. Quiz hands are deliberately balanced across hard totals, soft totals and pairs; they are not dealt with casino frequencies. Advice assumes the dealer has checked and does not have blackjack. Using a hint excludes that decision from accuracy.
